<연주자 프로필>

Kevin Kwan Loucks, a Korean-American pianist, is a graduate of The Juilliard School and has performed. His performances include at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Prösels Castle in Italy, The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, Lichtenste in Palace in Prague, and on live broadcasts at NPR’s Performance Today and Canada’s CBC Radio 2. Mr. Loucks was adopted from his native South Korea before his first birthday. He made his first trip back to Korean in January 2011 as Principal Artist-in-Residence of the International Arts Mentoring Program; a program dedicated to bringing music performance and arts education to underprivileged children throughout Korea.

Iryna Krechkovsky Loucks is a prize-winning violinist with an international career in solo, chamber and orchestral performances at Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall(New York), Town Hall(Seattle), The American Church(Paris, France). Born in Ukraine, she earned her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Stoney Brook University in New York. Iryna and her husband, pianist Kevin Kwan Loucks, were appointed co-music directors of the Los Angeles new music group Synchromy and Artists-in-Residence at the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at the University of California, Irvine.

Yujin Choi, a Korean-American Soprano, graduated from Ehwa Women’s University, Seoul, Korea, with a B.M. and Professional Diploma in Voice Performance. She has performed in several operas, poperas, and recitals both in Seoul, Korea and NYC, NY, and was named “Winner of Queen’s Opera Vocal Competition.” Ms. Choi is a former member of “The National Chorus of Korea.”

The Choir was founded on the belief that we can share in each other’s cultures and celebrate our differences through music. The primary value of the choir is to provide an environment for the Twin Cities’ community’s women to learn choral music from wide variety of cultures, ethnicities, traditions and genres in multiple languages.
